cool touch laser
Question:
I went to a dermatology clinic in Manhattan today. I have some scaring on my cheeks from when I had acne as a teen. This office offers all sorts of peels, dermabrasion, salt-a peel etc. The doctor, while only glancing at my face, felt the cool touch laser was the right thing for me. Of course it is the most expensive treatment too. Does anyone know more about the cool touch laser and is it beneficial for scaring on the face? I am not sure if this guy is a salesman or if he really feels I need this procedure. My scaring is fairly minimal and more obvious on one cheek. Any input on this would be very helpful.
Response:
Ive heard that it is best for wrinkles… you need more then 1 treatment. I think, in my opinion, a co2 laser would be best in the long run…

Response:
no matter what the best treatment is, I would DEFINITELY get a second opinion, especially if this is an expensive procedure. This is a pretty competitive market right now, especially in NYC. I just had laser eye surgery, I should have got more than one opinion and I didn’t.
